Welcome to SDA Dance Academy
Established in 2006 by Laura Cook, a fully qualified teacher and ex-professional dancer, SDA Dance Academy offers children and adults of all ages and abilities the opportunity to learn and enjoy a wide range of dance styles.
Whether your goal is to become a professional dancer or simply to keep fit and have fun, we have the right class for you.
Our Classes and Examinations
Every student is carefully taught, with the opportunity to study for examinations with the I.D.T.A. We are proud to have a 100% exam pass rate across all genres.

Shows and Performances
Our shows, held at The Regal Theatre in Minehead, provide fun and excitement for all our students. Everyone has the chance to be a star, and our shows are very popular, nearly always selling out!
Competition Team
For the more serious dancer, students have to opportunity to join our new & exciting competition Team! We take part in lots of festivals & competitions around the country.
Workshops & Holiday clubs
Throughout the year we ask guest, specialised teachers to come & take classes with our students. In addition we run holiday clubs at the studio from age 5, which include dancing, singing, acting, arts, crafts, circus skills - the list goes on!
